A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; (Ecclesiastes 3:3 KJV)
I am encouraged by the fact that God has allowed for a time to heal: I surely need it. In this season of life, I am believing God to do the right right thing by me. That’s known as “grace” and it may not allow for complete physical healing!
Will I be a loving, obedient, child of God when I do not get my own way? I want to! That is part of the “…time to build up!” Suffering builds character and shows us where we can improve!
I am thankful to God in all things, in all seasons….Praise be unto Him!
Prepare for God’s Arrival
“Comfort, oh comfort my people,” says your God. “Speak softly and tenderly to Jerusalem, but also make it very clear That she has served her sentence, that her sin is taken care of—forgiven! She’s been punished enough and more than enough, and now it’s over and done with.” (Isaiah 40:1-2 MSG)
This expression of comfort means a lot to me. Jesus is coming soon…not to judge us, but for fellowship!
Prayer: Lord, help me to put the appropriate value on forgiveness and your companionship.
http://bible.com/1/gal6.7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting…
Keeping the best for God!
http://bible.com/114/rom12.3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
ISAIAH 57:20-21 NKJV – But the wicked are like the troubled sea, When it cannot rest, Whose waters cast up mire and dirt. “ There is no peace,” Says my God, “for the wicked.”
Faith has legs . . . I heard about a man some years ago who was rolling a wheelbarrow back and forth on a tightrope across Niagara River. Thousands of people were shouting him on. He put a 200-pound sack of dirt in the wheelbarrow and rolled it over, and then he rolled it back. He turned to the crowd and asked, “How many of you believe that I can roll a man across?” Everybody shouted! One man in the front row was very excited in his professed belief. The man pointed to this excited professor and said, “You’re next!” You couldn’t see that man for dust! He didn’t actually believe it. He thought he believed
it—but he was not willing to get in the wheelbarrow. Just so with Christ. Many people say they believe on Him, they say they follow Him. But they never have stepped into the wheelbarrow. They actually never have committed and surrendered themselves wholly, 100 percent to Christ.
Loving Lord Jesus, it was only when I surrendered everything to You that I knew the ultimate joy and peace that had always escaped me.
Galatians 5:22 NKJV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Kindness is a virtue that is misunderstood. It should be of the heart and not just well-intentioned action.
If we love one another to the point where we demonstrate kindness, without thinking, without any conscious intention, then we are of the same nature as Christ! He loved us so much, He gave His life for us…freely!
The kindness that we have simply does not measure up.
Amid the temptations of the Evil One,
and the provocation of the ungodly,
help me to stay steadfast and immovable,
so as to be counted worthy to stand before the Son of Man.

PSALM 119:18 NKJV – Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.
Some, who doubt that the Bible is the true Word of God, doubt it because they are unwilling to ascribe to God anything they cannot themselves achieve. If you have any uncertainty about the inspiration of the Bible, go back and look at it again. Look at it in the light of a person who has been staring at a mud puddle all his life, and who is confronted for the first time by a view of the ocean!
Perhaps you are only now catching your first glimpse of God’s unlimited power. Perhaps you are only now beginning to understand Him for what He actually is. For if God is the Spirit that Jesus declares Him to be, there is no problem of providence, there is no problem of His sovereignty in the affairs of men, there is no problem of His inspiration of the men who wrote the Bible. Everything fits into place, once you understand who and what God really is.
My Father and my God, as I read the Scriptures each day, You open my eyes to more of the glories of Your wondrous love.
EPHESIANS 5:16 NKJV
redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Practice Good Stewardship
We are stewards of our time. God has given each one of us a little “chunk of eternity” called time. These golden moments of opportunity are doled out to us for our benefit and for God’s glory. If we use them wisely, they are woven by God’s omnipotent hand into the fabric of eternity. Henry Thoreau cautioned, “You cannot kill time without injuring eternity.” “He who has no vision of eternity,” said Carlyle, “has no hold on time.” “Only one life, ’twill soon be past; only what’s done for Christ will last” is the sentiment of every man who desires to be a good steward of his time. We are entrusted with a small portion of the capital of time. If we invest it wisely, it will pay dividends throughout eternity.
Take away my procrastinating nature—how easy it is for me to waste time. I want to be able to leave a legacy of time spent for You, Lord, because that is eternal.
PSALM 37:5 NKJV.
Commit your way to the Lord , Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
The Wisdom of God
To know the will of God is the highest of all wisdom. Living in the center of God’s will rules out all falseness of religion and puts the stamp of true sincerity upon our service to God. You can be miserable with much, if you are out of His will; but you can have peace in your heart with little, if you are in the will of God. You can be wretched with wealth and fame, out of His will; but you can have joy in obscurity, if you are in the will of God. You can have agony in good health, out of His will; but you can be happy in the midst of suffering, if you are in God’s will. You can be miserable and defeated in the midst of acclaim, if you are out of His will; but you can be calm and at peace in the midst of persecution, as long as you are in the will of God. The Bible reveals that God has a plan for every life, and that if we live in constant fellowship with Him, He will direct and lead us in the fulfillment of this plan.
In everything I do, Your will must be uppermost in my life, Lord. I, as Your child, trust You to lead me.
