There once was a Man of Galilee,
Who gave up His life on a tree…
He said ” If I’m lifted up”
( For others He drank this cup)
“I will draw all men unto me!”
It’s been 2000 years since that loss
It happened on an old wooden cross
“It is finished,” He said
As He hung there and bled
And to think that He did that for me!
This gracious salvation is free
To all who in Christ, believe…
Accept Him today
And your sins wash away
Never again to be seen.
He descended to hell- is that odd?
Rescued those who didn’t belong…
He captured “captivity”,
Ascended on high
And sat down on the right hand of God!
